Description

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, is a federal nutrition assistance program administered by states that provides monthly electronic benefits (EBT) to eligible low-income individuals and families to help purchase food. Benefits can be used at authorized grocery stores, farmers markets, and many online retailers to buy SNAP-eligible food items that support household nutrition.
