When someone leaves the hospital after a brain, stroke, or spinal cord injury with no insurance, they’re often sent home with little support and an uncertain road ahead. The Georgia RSVP Clinic steps into that gap, providing free therapy, equipment, and resources that help clients reclaim their independence and rejoin their communities.
Our clinical team donates their expertise, so every client receives expert medical care, nursing, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy at no cost. Your gift extends that care by covering the essentials it depends on: medical supplies, adaptive equipment, specialty care, primary care, transportation, and the social needs that make independence possible, from stable housing to food security.

Medical supplies and adaptive equipment, like ramps, leg braces, and splints, so clients can move and live more safely at home.

Driving evaluations and vehicle modifications that give clients the freedom to rejoin their community.

Rahsaan Wise. After a spinal cord injury, Rahsaan came home uninsured and unsure of what came next, reliant on his mother for everything and unable to see a way forward. Through GA RSVP he rebuilt his life piece by piece, and today he mentors others as a certified peer supporter, leads a 50+ member spinal cord injury support group, and serves on a statewide board.
Arman Johnson. At 29, a car accident left Arman with a severe traumatic brain injury, home and minimally conscious, uninsured, and dependent on his family for everything. GA RSVP trained his parents and sister and provided the care and equipment insurance wouldn’t. Today Arman walks, speaks, and is filled with hope about the future. His family tells the story in their own words.
Anthony Patience. A stroke left Anthony uninsured, unemployed, and unable to walk or use his right arm. Through therapy, peer support, and even adaptive golf, he rebuilt his strength and confidence and returned to work. Now he gives back as a peer mentor to others recovering from stroke and brain injury.
