For professionals who have a license, we do have malpractice insurance available through the State. You must complete an application that we will send you and it takes about 2 weeks to verify.

PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEER ROLES
The roles listed below are the more common needs for GA RSVP but they are not exclusive. If you are interested in volunteering and you do not see a volunteer opportunity that matches your skills, please consider applying anyways.
As a Saturday Clinic Volunteer, you’ll deliver direct, hands-on rehabilitation services during our monthly Saturday clinic sessions. You will provide skilled assessment, intervention, patient and family education, and recommendations to support functional recovery, safety, and quality of life for uninsured and underinsured adults with brain, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. As a Rehabilitation Admissions Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the clinic by conducting initial phone screenings for referrals. You will gather essential information to determine program eligibility, assess current functional status and condition-specific details, and identify rehabilitation goals. This volunteer role ensures appropriate referrals are prepared for the clinical team while maintaining empathetic and clear communication with clients. Read more here.
As a Rehab Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a free outpatient rehabilitation clinic serving adults with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury. You will provide hands-on support during treatment sessions, assist with daily clinic operations, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment. Read more here.
Client Navigators play a vital role in supporting our clients by helping them navigate their overall plan of care. You will provide guidance, education, and connect clients to resources related to income and insurance benefits, social support, social determinants of health, and access to additional healthcare and community services. This volunteer role helps address key barriers to recovery and promotes holistic well-being for uninsured and underinsured individuals with brain, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. Read more here.
