Who Qualifies

Participants generally qualify if they:

  • Are actively enrolled in SNAP

  • Purchase qualifying milk products (typically skim or 1% fluid cow’s milk without flavoring)

  • Shop at participating grocery store locations where the Add Milk incentive is available

Application Process

  1. Go to a participating grocery store in Georgia.

  2. Use your SNAP/EBT card to buy skim milk or 1% low-fat milk (plain only, no flavored milk).

  3. For every $1 you spend on qualifying milk, you get $1 back as a discount or coupon.

  4. Use that extra savings on other SNAP-eligible groceries at the same store.

No separate enrollment is usually required; eligibility is automatically determined when SNAP benefits are used at participating stores.

Description

The Add Milk! Program is a special SNAP program that helps families with lower incomes buy healthier milk.

When you use your SNAP/EBT card to buy low-fat or fat-free milk (like skim or 1% milk) at certain grocery stores, you get a discount or extra savings. This makes healthy milk more affordable.

The program is run by Auburn University and funded by the USDA. It is available at many stores, including some in Georgia.
