Who Qualifies

Different programs have different rules:

  • For single men or women (Emergency Assessment Program):

  • You must be homeless. You need a valid photo ID. Stays are usually up to 30 days (once per year).

For families (Family Emergency Program):

  • You must be the head of the household with proof of custody of your children.

  • Families can stay up to 90 days in some programs.

  • For longer stays (Supportive Emergency Program):

  • You must be homeless, show two forms of ID, and have some income or a sponsor.

  • Everyone must follow shelter rules, stay drug-free, and take part in programs.
