Who Qualifies
Different programs have different rules:
For single men or women (Emergency Assessment Program):
You must be homeless. You need a valid photo ID. Stays are usually up to 30 days (once per year).
For families (Family Emergency Program):
You must be the head of the household with proof of custody of your children.
Families can stay up to 90 days in some programs.
For longer stays (Supportive Emergency Program):
You must be homeless, show two forms of ID, and have some income or a sponsor.
Everyone must follow shelter rules, stay drug-free, and take part in programs.
