Who Qualifies

Child must generally be 21 years of age or younger (limited exceptions up to age 25 for pediatric treatment).

Child must be under the care of a physician.

The request must be clinically relevant to the child’s medical condition.

Insurance must not cover the requested service, or coverage must be denied.

Household income must fall below program financial thresholds listed on their website.

Requests are typically limited to one application per year and up to three lifetime grants per child, with a maximum grant amount generally up to about $17,000.

Application Process

  3. Submit supporting documents with the application.

  4. Applications are reviewed monthly, typically on a first-come basis.

  5. Applicants are informed of funding decisions about one month after submission, and payments are issued directly to providers or vendors if approved.
