Description
The Crisis Counseling for Caregivers Program provides short-term emotional support, stress management counseling, and crisis intervention services for family caregivers experiencing significant emotional strain related to caregiving responsibilities. The program focuses on helping caregivers manage burnout, grief, anxiety, depression, and urgent caregiving challenges while connecting them to longer-term counseling, respite services, and community supports when needed. Services are typically provided through telephone or virtual counseling sessions conducted by trained counselors familiar with caregiver stress and caregiver mental-health needs.
