Who Qualifies

Cobb County resident
The caregiver must be 18+ and the care-receiver 60+ years of age
Must NOT be receiving services from private pay agencies, Medicaid, veteran programs, private pay agencies/individuals etc.

Must have one of the following conditions:

Alzheimer’s disease or other neurological conditions
Physical or intellectual disabilities
Require assistance with at least 3 activities of daily living

Description

Cobb County Senior Services can help with financial assistance for in-home respite care. The goal of the Respite Care program is to provide temporary relief to caregivers who are caring for loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other neurological conditions and/or physical or intellectual disabilities. Services may include: companionship, supervision, light housekeeping, and personal care assistance.
