Who Qualifies
Live in the Greater Metro Atlanta area
Have a current lease or mortgage in your name
Have lived at your address and paid rent or mortgage for at least 3 full months
Are facing a documented emergency
Are currently employed, or have been employed in the last 12 months (or unable to work due to age or disability)
Can provide: valid picture ID, proof of income, and all required documents
Application Process
Go to their website and fill out the online application.
Upload all required documents (photo ID, proof of income, lease or mortgage, proof of the emergency, etc.).
Submit the form. You will get a “Pending” confirmation email.
A case manager reviews your application (usually within 48 hours).
If approved, you will be invited to schedule an in-person appointment at their office for screening and to receive help.
Description
Buckhead Christian Ministry (BCM Georgia) helps low-income working families in the Atlanta area who are facing a financial crisis. They give emergency help with rent and utility bills to prevent eviction and keep families in their homes.
They also offer longer-term supportive housing and free financial education classes so families can learn budgeting skills and build a more stable future.
