Who Qualifies
To be eligible for a discount on Prime membership, please verify your eligibility by providing one of the following:
SSI: Image of complete eligibility letter for Supplemental Security Income (this is different from Social Security and SSDI.)
SNAP: Enter your EBT number and upload an image of the EBT card
DE: Image of Direct Express Debit Card
EIP Card: Image of Economic Impact Payment Debit Card
TANF: Image of eligibility letter for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
NSLP: Image of letter indicating current participation in the National School Lunch Program, with your child's name, the school name
LIHEAP: Image of letter confirming your eligibility for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, WIC: Image of eligibility letter for the Women, Infants, and Children program
TTANF: Image of Tribal assistance eligibility letter.
Application Process
Go to the Amazon Prime Access page (search “Amazon Prime Access” on Amazon.com).
Select the option to verify eligibility (you will be asked to upload a photo of your EBT card or another form of documentation showing participation in a qualifying assistance program).
Enter your payment method (Prime Access still requires a valid payment card for the monthly fee).
Important Notes:
You must re-verify eligibility annually to keep the discounted rate.
If you already have a full-price Prime subscription, you may be able to switch to Prime Access and receive a refund for the unused portion of your original subscription after verification.

Amazon offers 50% off discounts on Prime Memberships (called Prime Access) for qualifying government assistance recipients. Must be a qualifying recipient of SSI (Supplemental Security Income), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), DE (Direct Express Debit Card), EIP (Economic Impact Payment debit card — accepted for a limited time), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), NSLP (National School Lunch Program), LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program), WIC (Women, Infants, and Children Program), or TTANF (Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families).
