Who Qualifies
Amputees (children, adults, and veterans) who need a prosthetic leg
People who cannot afford a prosthetic or whose insurance will not fully cover it
Open to applicants from all over the United States
Application Process
Go to 50legs.org/application-for-assistance/. There may be times when they are not accepting applications
Fill out the online application form
Submit required documents (proof of amputation, income information, etc.)
Wait to be contacted by their team (they usually respond within 5–10 business days)
Description
50 Legs provides high-quality prosthetic legs at no cost to children, adults, and veterans who have lost a leg and cannot afford one. They cover the full cost of the prosthetic, travel, hotel, and fitting so the recipient leaves with no medical bills.
